Stumbled across this place, great find. We ate out side but plenty of inside seating as well. Lots of choice on the menu and some lighter bite options like cakes and sausage rolls as well. Really friendly staff, quick service and food was lovely.

Excellent cafe situated in the centre of Thorpeness. There's a car park at the rear plus a antiques and curios shop attached. At the front, overlooking the pond, is a good sized seating area with parasols at each table. Which were a necessity today as the heat was extreme . Dogs are welcome inside or out and there's water available. Food wise there's an excellent selection from home made sausage rolls and sandwiches cakes and delicious scones. Or for the hungrier 'luncher'... there's more substantial food. I opted for home made Mackrell pate, Beetroot salad, and crusty bread. The pate was full of chunky fish pieces and delicious complimented by the pickled Beetroot salad and green leaves. I thoroughly enjoyed it and washed it down with a local Adnams beer ( the cafe is licenced ). The food is ordered at the counter, giving me the chance to look at the yummy food and make a good choice. Then the lovely staff serve to table. I would highly recommend.

First & foremost they serve the worlds best coffee - illy , it's internationally renowned & naturally world famous too! (Research ILLY''S history & backstory. Thanks to the Thorpeness Kitchen & their FAB team ... ALL of You guys & girls & others We had an absolutely brilliant experience here. Thanks to their very friendly Welcoming Staff whom provided Service with a Smile . It's extremely Affordable & the Simplicity & Complexity of Tastey-ness /tastiness & presentation of our food was just Scrumptious and first class. Chef & his team were ever so efficient & place & space was very clean . We highly recommend coming here, as we will definately visit again. Doggy friendly & bird & duck friendly too....and .... Never mind the Sea gulls - don't be bothered by them & for heavensakes dont feed them. You're naturally on the Suffolk Coast, right by the sea It's Nature ! Thank you so much to all the 'team' for making my fleeting visit for a quick mum & daughter lunch an absolute pleasure So Appreciated - Keep Up the Great Work Guys, Girls or Other #TeamKitchen @Thorpeness #ThorpenessKitchen xxx

A lovely place to grab a bite to eat, food was really good, fresh and homemade, a little disappointed that in half term week the food menu stopped at 3pm, so we only had a choice of what was on the counter, what we had was however really lovely! Friendly staff, quick service and lovely location which is also dog friendly! Recommend the bacon and cheese pastry!
